Fireplace

I know there are differing opinions on this, but I’m a firm believer in painting brick fireplaces.  Especially when they look like this.

Remember my before…

I chose to paint mine and I was so happy with the results.  It brightened the room and also brought it up to date without having to spend a lot of money.

Well, looks like I have another brick fireplace just begging for a little upgrade.

But this time, I’m going to white wash instead of paint the brick.  I came across this fireplace makeover the other day over at The Yellow Cap Cod and I really like the way you can still see the variation in color of the brick.

I’ll let you know how it turns out.  The painters finished up last night and it looks amazing!  I can’t wait to show you.  What a difference a little LOT of paint can make!
